Project Summary:
This event will provide learning opportunities through expert speakers, interactive workshops, and panel discussions, equipping participants with practical tools to implement community-led solutions, create collective messaging, and strengthen cross-sector collaboration. Featuring thought leaders, innovators, and advocates, the event will highlight successful strategies for advancing health outcomes while ensuring public health remains responsive, inclusive, and impactful.
Many public health professionals lack tools and strategies to foster innovation, creativity, and belonging in their work. This gap often stems from traditional approaches that prioritize problem-solving over community-centered initiatives. By addressing this need, professionals can learn to incorporate creative solutions that effectively engage communities while bringing joy and inclusion for all public health workers and partners.
There is also a shortage of mentorship and development programs preparing emerging leaders for public health's evolving landscape. This knowledge gap can be addressed by emphasizing leadership development and community-centered practices, ensuring new leaders can navigate change and implement inclusive, equitable solutions. The keynote will cover health equity, joy and belonging, and community engagement opportunities to uplift our public health workforce. The primary audience includes public health professionals, community leaders, policymakers, and cross-sector partners dedicated to advancing health equity and innovation.
With over 500 anticipated attendees, the event will unite diverse individuals committed to fostering community-led solutions, strengthening collaboration, and enhancing public health outcomes. More than 70 practitioners and researchers from across the state will lead breakout sessions, workshops, and learning labs during the conference.
