Project Description Narrative:
In phase three of its Advancing Behavioral Health Initiative, the Racine Collaborative of Children's Mental Health will expand its efforts to improve children's social and emotional health in Racine through supporting Racine Unified School District's programming, evaluating programs and using data for continuous quality improvement; expanding the availability of training for staff and parents; increasing the reach of resources through the website developed in phase two; and positioning these efforts for long-term sustainability through documenting and disseminating impact.
The long-term health benefits of this project include improved social and emotional health among Racine's youth, a more positive school culture for staff and students, and better and more streamlined access to mental health care for the Racine community.
