AHW Announces National Search for Director

October 15, 2018 - The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW) seeks a strategic and influential leader to serve as its next Director. The incumbent of this position also holds the title of Senior Associate Dean in the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Medicine (SOM). This is an extraordinary opportunity to lead a premier foundation which has the vision to promote Wisconsin to be the healthiest state in the nation.

AHW provides support for community programs, research and education initiatives and growth of an outstanding health care workforce with the overarching goal of improving the health of Wisconsin communities. The Director of AHW will be a strategic thinker and possess skills to build consensus among a diverse set of stakeholders. The Director must also be able to lead effectively in an academic medical center setting, be outcome-oriented, an excellent communicator, and act in a transparent manner.
