Attendees will hear from national suicide prevention expert Victor Armstrong and local speakers will discuss suicide prevention in diverse communities.

Outcomes & Lessons Learned:

  • Engaged audience with keynote speakers on suicide prevention
  • Employed breakout sessions with "SWOT" techniques to bolster communication
  • Overcame challenges with respect to continuing education credits and speaker changes to run a successful event with positive evaluation comments
