Project Duration:24 months

Project Summary:

Currently, Green County law enforcement officers do not conduct alcohol age compliance checks. There are five police departments and one sheriff’s office for Green County. Better Brodhead will provide training opportunities, resources, and technical support to assist law enforcement in developing a process for conducting Alcohol Age Compliance Checks (AACC).

The goal is to reduce underage drinking and engage the community in support of AACC. Since underage drinking is a major concern, our coalition will partner with the five police departments and the Green County sheriff’s office to embed AACC in ongoing law enforcement activities. The project intends to engage statewide and local partners to work together to pilot training, resources, and technical support to our law enforcement and communities to be used statewide.
