Project Summary:


Pancreatic cancer is a serious health issue that needs new scientific breakthroughs to improve how we treat it.

This MCW’s Pancreatic Cancer Symposium aims to share the latest research and speed up the process of turning lab discoveries into real treatments.

Attendees—including surgeons, primary care providers, scientists, and advanced practice providers—will learn about the results of a new type of radiotherapy, how personalized treatments can help patients live longer and better, and new treatment targets discovered through genetic research.

The event will include talks from experts, open discussions, and opportunities for attendees to discuss patient cases with faculty members.

Outcomes & Lessons Learned:


  • Engaged audience with respected keynote speakers who presented on emerging topics in pancreatic cancer
  • Provided updated data and the latest research findings
  • Allowed for significant discussion amongst audience participants, with many members staying after the conference to discuss topics of the conference
