Project Summary:


The theme for this year’s WPHA Public Health in Practice (PHIP) Conference is “is "Pathways to Strengthen the Workforce.” Content included at the event will touch on this theme, focusing on building tangible, applicable skills attendees can “take home and use right away” in their work and in their communities. The PHIP Conference is expected to draw between 120-150 in-person attendees this year, with an additional 5-10 virtual attendees. This includes association members and non-members ranging from retired professionals, active practitioners in the field, student and interns, and other public health partners looking to advance their skill sets to improve the health of the public in Wisconsin. Over 25 practitioners and implementers from around the state will lead breakout sessions during the conference.
