Project Description Narrative:


Wisconsin’s Langlade, Manitowoc, and Waupaca counties all have significant health-related issues in their respective populations, including obesity and lack of insurance. The Strong Rural Communities Initiative will promote the need for collaboration in rural communities to increase preventative health services. The initiative will identify and promote statewide public policies to support collaboration among rural medical, public health, and business partners.
