Improving dental health for low income uninsured and underinsured residents in Dodge and Jefferson counties
Return to Listing
In Wisconsin’s Dodge and Jefferson counties, dental care is limited for low-income residents. The majority of the counties’ residents who receive other county services report difficulty in getting dental care, due to a lack of Medical Assistance dentists who will take clients or lack of dental insurance. This project aims to create a best-practice model for dental health education and dental service delivery for uninsured and underinsured residents of Doge and Jefferson counties, through the development of a free dental clinic.
