Project Description Narrative:


Despite Wisconsin’s sound healthcare system, racial and ethnic disparities in health outcomes exist. Stronger leadership and civic engagement are needed to address critical health status issues, and a competent workforce must know how to utilize existing resources to support public health system capacity.

Working with Mount Mary College, this project will develop a module that supports, diverse college women from public and private colleges and universities across Wisconsin participating in a program that will build health policy leadership capacity, promote sufficient and competent workforce, and provide public and community health leadership and policy perspectives.
