Return to Listing
In Milwaukee’s inner-city, there is an alarming rate of improper restraint and resulting injuries in children aged 4-8 due to motor vehicle accidents, Through this project, a coalition will be established to develop a culturally competent and family-focused educational campaign aimed at reducing child morbidity and mortality due to motor vehicle accidents.
The project aims to create a community-based educational campaign that not only improves booster seat utilization in Milwaukee's inner-city but that also contributes to the collective effort to enhance child safety in motor vehicles across the country.
