Project Description Narrative:


This event will gather members of Active Wisconsin—a statewide network of professionals working to improve active transportation in their cities—to connect and learn about local initiatives and statewide advocacy efforts to advance the health and safety of all Wisconsin communities through equitable access to sustainable transportation.

The one-day event will bring together Active Wisconsin members for their first in-person gathering since the COVID-19 pandemic, for an opportunity to explore active transportation policies, programs, and infrastructure opportunities and improvements. Attendees will hear success stories from members across Wisconsin and gain insights and education to improve active transportation advocacy capacity at both local and state levels.
