Project Description Narrative:


Neurotrauma Symposium attendees will hear from a highly credentialed speaker lineup on treatment, care, and research surrounding neurotrauma and patient experiences. Lectures will cover new approaches to evidence-based treatments, research findings and innovations, and updates on the gun and road violence public safety crisis as it relates to neurotrauma.

Providers, professionals, and students interested in neurotrauma will attend and have opportunities to engage in discussions after each lecture and in breakout sessions. There will also be a panel discussion focusing on a traumatic brain injury/aphasia case, featuring its multidisciplinary care team and patient.
