Project Description Narrative:

The 2024 WAND Annual Conference will welcome nutrition and dietetics practitioners, professionals, and students to learn about the latest advancements in the field and to connect and build relationships and partnerships with experts and peers.

This year’s conference theme is, “Driving Change through Health and Wellness,” and will focus on education and exploration of new and intuitive approaches for health and wellness in Wisconsin by providing both healthcare and education services. Attendees will learn new tools and skills that they can apply to their work and study regarding nutrition and dietetics, to promote health and disease prevention in their communities.

Outcomes & Lessons Learned:

Engaged audience with learning tools including six pillars for healthy lifestyle medicine
Able to use breakout sessions to further discuss topics and case studies
Feedback provided by evaluations will lead to improvements in next year's seminar.
