Providing physicians with timely knowledge and tools relating to physician well-being
Return to Listing
National survey data has shown that 62.8% of physician respondents report symptoms of burnout, and satisfaction with work-life integration is declining. Additionally, nine in 10 physicians felt stress due to the polarization of medical care, and an association has been found between higher rates of burnout and experiencing moral distress or compromised integrity.
The annual Health & Harmony event will welcome Wisconsin-based physicians and medical students to learn about important topics relating to physician wellness. Speakers will present educational content on topics including organizational trauma and the connection between professional value, identity, and health; barriers and potential implications to physicians seeking care; economic impact related to physician wellness; and strategies and tools to advance change and support well-being.
Attendees will have opportunities to participate in engaging networking and Q&A sessions with event speakers, and to earn up to six CME credits.
