Project Description Narrative:


Pancreatic cancer is a deadly but relatively low-incidence disease, requiring a multidisciplinary approach for its management and treatment. The MCW Pancreatic Cancer Symposium, now in its 13th year, provides physicians, advanced practice providers, scientists, patient advocates, and medical students and trainees with cutting-edge insights and updates on the progress in pancreatic cancer research and treatment guidelines.

The interactive, day-long event will provide attendees with case-based learning opportunities, featuring lectures and discussions addressing:

  • AI in pancreatic cancer treatmen
  • The future of radiation for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
  • Treatment sequencing in metastatic PNET
  • Surgical treatment of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors
  • Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy and the future of therapeutics
