Learning Event Support: Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin – First Annual Advisory Committee Assembly

Project Description Narrative:

As part of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin’s Annual Meeting, the First Annual Advisory Committee Assembly will gather committee members, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians representing various areas of pharmacy practice in Wisconsin, to engage, collaborate, and connect.

During the Advisory Committee Assembly at the PSW Annual Meeting, attendees will discuss the current state of the pharmacy profession in Wisconsin, share ideas, and review strategic goals for the organization. The Advisory Committee Assembly will build on the aims of the annual meeting to outline importance of "one voice, one vision" as it applies to serving patients, communities and the profession; recognize how collaboration across healthcare teams improves medication use, health, and transforms pharmacy practice; and support diversity in membership, equity in opportunity, and inclusiveness in the organization.
