Providing education related to neurotrauma and multidisciplinary collaboration across the continuum
Return to Listing
Among this symposium's learning objectives are identifying new approaches to neurotrauma care to implement evidence-based practice and understanding how mental health and socioeconomic factors affect treatment and recovery from neurotrauma. Multiple breakout sessions allow attendees to focus on specific topics of interest. Speakers will be leaders and experts in the field of neurotrauma, ranging from physicians, psychologists, therapists, and research scientists. The symposium concludes with a panel discussion of a past spinal cord injury case with the multidisciplinary team involved in caring for the patient and the patient themselves.
The targeted audience for the symposium is providers and those interested in neurotrauma who live/study/practice in Wisconsin.
