Project Description Narrative:

Latinos in Wisconsin are at risk of poor health, with high rates of various health risk factors (smoking, HIV infections, and tooth decay, among others). While the underlying causes of these disparities are not clear, it’s understood that to reach Latinos regarding healthcare, a method is needed that will involve and engage the population.

This project will use an innovative theater approach to gather and analyze information about how Latino’s experience and interpret health related events. This will enhance understanding of Latino health disparities, allowing for better strategies to make improvements.
