AHW issues call for applications to support collaborative research projects for improved health
Funding is available to foster new or enhanced research collaborations along the T0-T5 translational spectrum to address Wisconsin’s health needs
June 19, 2019 - The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment invites eligible investigators to submit an application for the Call for Collaborative Research Projects for Improved Health. Through this funding, AHW aims to foster new or enhanced research collaborations with the intent to pursue new paths of study, overcome barriers, or integrate new research perspectives.
Letter of Intent applications are due Aug. 19. Under this grant opportunity, AHW intends to fund up to six meritorious projects conducted over a two-year period. Each project should anticipate a budget of approximately $250,000. Preference will be given to research in alignment with AHW’s focus areas of improving heart health, supporting healthy minds, and dismantling cancer. Up to two awards will be granted for work outside of these focus areas.
